I just refuse to believe that the only quality of the Step vinyls are below or equal to 320kbps (and some of these 320kbps are fake, actually sounding like below 192kbps). And with the upload of "Gangster" in FLAC and very recently "Paint It Black" in WAV, all we need is the whole Steps album in FLAC/WAV. I love listening to the raw, original tracks and not the "muffled" low quality sound. Bandcamp seems to have all the Steps albums in "high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.", but I don't know if it's trustworthy and if it's a "scam" and all i get is fake FLACs. I have hopes that we will get all the 3 Steps Ahead "Step" album's in FLAC sooner or later.

Downloaded Step 1 from Bandcamp. Vinyl rip in low quality. Stereo image is also bad. Not recommend to buy or download.
Your statement is correct. A
Your statement is correct. A day after I posted this request I did some searching on the Bandcamp release. I managed to get all the Step albums for free and did auCDtect testing on all the files and the conclusion was that they were all fake FLAC's. The bandcamp release sounds like the scene releases you'd find on soulseek, gabber.od.ua, etc, any site or program that distributes mp3 gabber albums. The "sound waves" look identical to the scene releases, whatever scene group, just more information that screams "that what i got, isn't really a FLAC". In conclusion, I haven't found any of the Steps albums in real FLAC quality on the internet or soulseek and probably never will, but, hopefully there's still hope.
